After graduation from Senn, I attended the Univ. of Illinois, Urbana and earned my Batchlor's degree in Spanish. I worked several years as a bi-lingual secretary and many years as a general secretary and administrative assistant. While I have reduced my full-time work schedule, I still keep busy and am now doing temporary assignments at conventions and trade shows, still using my language skills.
Due to my interest in language and travel, I've taken many trips to various parts of the world -- Europe, So. American, Asia, E. Africa, S. Pacific, Mideast, etc. I did extensive sightseeing on those trips. Now, for the past 7 years I have been cruising, relaxing and enjoying the ship's activities, while still seeing many interesting ports of call. Other activities include getting together with family and friends, keeping physically active, working crossword puzzles, and yes, watching television for relaxation. |
