After high school, attended Metropolitan Business College. Moved to Cullman, Alabama in 1973. In 1974, employed by GAB Robins North America, a 3rd party administrator, handling Property and Worker's Compensation claims.
Worked as a Worker's Compensation claims adjuster, handling Worker's Compensation claims. Promoted to W/C Supervisor, supervising 5 adjusters. Served as President of the Alabama Worker's Compensation Association for the year of 1992/1993. A member of Insurance Women of Birmingham, member of Alabama Claims Association, and a member of the Alabama Self-Insurers Association. Retired in 2000 after 26 years with the company. I have two children, a son and a daughter. My son has two children, a son 18 and a daughter 17. My daughter has an 11 year old daughter. They are the joy of my life. We have had many family trips to Gulf Shores, AL and fond memories. Recently bought a townhouse in Mexico Beach, FL, 25 miles south of Panama City, FL. We'll use as a family retreat off and on during the year. I enjoy decorating and collecting antiques. Future plans: Take a cruise and a trip to San Antonio, TX. |
