I graduated from Northwestern, taught history at Schurz High School until my first child Steven was born. When he and our (Marty my husband) daughter, Amy went to school, I began my career of volunteering, primarily at our synagogue and Hadassah. I eventually became President of North Shore Chapter of Hadassah. In 1982 Marty was transferred to Atlanta where I got a masters degree in Middle East History. When we moved back to Northbrook, I started teaching and lecturing from Emory Univ.
We love to travel and spend a lot of time doing that, in particular going to Israel 22 times. Nor my greatest joy comes from my 3 grandchildren who happily live very near us. |
