Mac and Diana have lived in Wilmette since 1976.   They have a combined family of six adult children and eight grandchildren.   Diana is a elected official in Wilmette.   Early in Mac's career, he was a hairstyling teacher/platform artist demonstrating for Revlon, Clairol, Matrix, Roux and Helen Curtis at the major Beauty Conventions.   Mac recently sold his Beauty School which he operated and taught students for 34 years.   He is still styling at his salon which Mac has owned since he was 21.   He has been a guest editor for trade journals in the Beauty Industry, a member of The Chicago and National Cosmetology Association and was selected by Up John Pharmaceutical to be on their National Advisory Board in the initial promotion of Rogaine.   He has done hair styling for theatrical productions, Charitable events, T.V. Commercials and Dove Soap.   Mac has taught Continuing Education Programs and has been honored in Who's Who in the Beauty Industry as well as being a Judge of Beauty Show Competitions.   Mac was a Beauty School Evaluator for the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences.   He has estimated that he has cut and styled more than 325,000 women so far in his career and really has not worked a day in his life.
Diana and Mac's favorite hobby is International Travel. Our favorite pastime is spending time with our family.   Otherwise we are antiquing, going to the Art Institute, doing cultural things, plays, movies and eating out 8 nights a week.   You can find Mac at all other times on the golf course.
