Everyone in my immediate family are lawyers. I am a partner in my firm, and my wife is a partner in her firm. Our two sons are assistant states attorneys in the Cook County States Attorney's office. We've lived in the Lincoln Park area over 30 years, and our boys attended Chicago public schools. My wife and I were active in LaSalle Language Academy and other Lincoln Park school organizations and committees for 25 years. I was the president of the LaSalle School Council and the Lincoln Park Conservation Association. I was the present of the DePaul Law School Alumni Board. I am semi-retired, and when I'm not in Chicago I live in our Miami Beach condo, where I'm the president of the condo board.
