University of Illinois - received BFA in FAA 1960.   Continued at Art Institute of Chicago.   Various local workshops in painting and printmaking.   Worked primarily in book production and design for several educational publishers.   Married Patrick Pruchnik 1972 - architect.   He was in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic - learned Spanish which has proved invaluable in our travels to Europe and Mexico.   In 1963 I booked passage on a steamship and spent 6 months traveling on my own in Europe.   Throughout the years I have participated in group art shows, juried and nonjuried shows both in Chicago and out of state.   I volunteered for 8 years in the botany department of the Field Museum.   As a result have developed an interest in botany.   I spend time in my ever expanding garden - digging, birding, drawing my flowers, keeping a watch on mother nature!
