Proud of my 39 years of marriage to my wife, Edith, who came from Puerto Rico to find me. Proud of my daughters, Avita and Valerie. Proud of my six grandchildren, William, Robert, Lauren, Heather, Terry, and Alex. Feel fortunate to have obtained a BS in Journalism from Northwestern University, to have obtained an MA in social work from the University of Chicago, to have obtained a JD from the John Marshall Law School, and to be able to practice law in Illinois. Feel fortunate to have brought my scleroderma under control - somewhat. Feel fortunate to serve on the board overseeing the community in which I live. Feel fortunate to have curated an art exhibit of some of my oil paintings and paintings by members of an art league of which I am a past president at a not for profit art gallery and cultural center I helped establish in the south suburbs. Finally, three cheers for my mom who is still 'hanging in there' after 91 years.
