After graduating from U of I downstate, I married Rich, a Von Steuben grad, 46 years ago. Five years later, we moved to the San Francisco Peninsula, and have been here ever since. I've always been a teacher, as well as an ongoing student, especially in counseling, linguistics, and languages. My favorite part of my career was 20 years' teaching English as a Second Language in a variety of settings, including high-tech companies in Silicon Valley.
Since we've retired, we've traveled all over, including many trips to Israel. Now we're very busy with swimming, hiking, biking, gardening, Hebrew classes, choral singing, ham radio, and synagogue activities. We have two sons and four delicious grandchildren.
