After graduating from Northwestern University, I married Marv, my Senn sweetheart, and we have three sons and seven grandchildren. Having majored in journalism, I worked in a variety of writing-related positions--assistant editor for World Book Encylopedia, reporter and feature writer for a suburban newspaper (Wilmette Life), public relations for Evanston Hospital, and then freelance public relations and journalism. Along the way, I got "hooked" on duplicate bridge, which continues to be my special passion. Since retirement three years ago, Marv and I now spend our winters in Sarasota. I love to walk, read, go to movies and the theater, and, of course, babysit the grandchildren.
