I?ve been self-employed since 1978 as a numismatist dealing in precious metals, rare coins and currency, and currently have offices and a store in Mc Henry, IL. My wife of 42 years and I travel extensively. We have particularly enjoyed safari in Africa, the Amazon in Peru, and are planning our next trip to Vietnam. We have 3 children (2 sons and a daughter) and 3 grandchildren. Two of our children still live in the Chicago area, the other in California.
I still enjoy some of the same hobbies from my youth. I?m an active fisherman in Lake County and go after the big Northerns in Canada. My wife and I golf during the summer and bowl during the winter months. I?m thrilled to be at my 50th class reunion. When any of my customers tell me they are originally from Chicago, I?ll always ask ?And what high school did you go to??, and if he/she wasn?t as lucky as us, I?ll follow with, ?Did you ever hear of the Fighting Bulldogs, the Green and White, Harry?s or Bob?s??
