Since Senn graduation, I received a BA from Lawrence University;got married (1959);had two children and earned a M.Ed from the University of Delaware. We have lived in Minnesota, Texas, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania (for 26 years) and now The Villages in Florida. My husband, Tom, is a PhD Chemist who, although retired, still puts some time in "mixing the molecules" as my dad liked to put it. Our son Richard is 41, unmarried, a programmer and lives in PA. Our daughter, Theresa, died of a congenital heart defect when she was 12.
I have worked as a psychometrist, a full time mother, a guidance counselor and a tax preparer. I owned an H&R Block franchise for 20 years.My community activities include the League of Women Voters, serving on several County advisory boards and running for County Commissioner (I lost) and a charter review committee (I won). We have traveled to all continents except Antarctica. Our latest trip was to Sicily and Malta. My hobbies include watercolor painting and genealogy. My interests are reading, travel and attending the theatre and movies and now learning pickleball. We moved to Florida last fall and we are loving the weather and driving the golf cart! I am looking forward to seeing everyone again. Are we sure it is 50 years? |
