I worked in graphic arts since graduating in Jan 55, starting as an apprentice typesetter working my way up to supervisory positions, to selling type and print, to managing companies. I retired from the printing industry in July of 03.
I have been active in various service and community organizations and committees. I am married to my bride of 44 years. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I am most proud of my three children who are all successful in their chosen fields. My wife and I travel on long weekends, usually to visit one of our children who all live in different parts of the country, from northeast Iowa to Ft Lauderdale FL to Dallas TX. I now work part time in the summers and my wife still works full time. I still enjoy sports and am still trying to play a decent round of golf. |
