Nursing surgical one year after graduation. Married to a med student, and after his graduation spent two years in military at Ft. Bliss, Texas. From there to Chicago to Presbyterian St. Lukes Hospital for residency for three years. Moved to Moline, IL where my husband set up practice in internal medicine in 1964.
We divorced in 1971. I continued to live in Moline and raised my children here. We (my husband Tom Liljegren whom I married in 1983) are currently retired and moving to our home in Eagle River, Michigan in the upper peninsula. We have 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. We keep busy!
