HMMMMM... What has happpened in my life in the last 50 years?

After graduating Senn in the January class, I went to Navy Pier (U of Illinois) after which I completed my undergraduate work at DePaul University, with a major in Accountancy. After passing the CPA test in 1960, I worked in both public and private accounting in the Chicago area until 1966.   At that time, I moved to Dayton, Ohio to become controller of a photo finishing firm.

In 1967, I made a major career move by going to work for IBM in the areas of sales and marketing, where i remained until 1990, moving from Dayton to Chicago (married in 1969) to Springfield, Illinois to Houston (divorced in 1972, no... no children) and finally to The Big Apple(New York City) in 1972, where I have since maintained a residence.

When I became a victim of corporate downsizing by IBM in 1990, I reverted to the world of finance and was employed by an insurance brokerage firm until I retired in 1999.

During a Leonard Bernstein Philharmonic concert in Central Park, I met a wonderful lady.   Barbara and I lived together for 15 years (1985-2000), prior to tying the marriage knot in 2000.   She continually reminds me that this is the best thing that ever happened to me. (p.s., I happen to agree with her).

We now maintain three residences, a co-operative apartment on the East side of Manhattan, a home in the Hamptons (at the East end of Long Island), and a condominium in Naples, Florida, where the winters are spent away from the cold and snow of the north.   While in the Hamptons and Naples, i will usually spend 3 or 4 days a week golfing, where the quantity of my play in not reflective of the quality.

We regret that we will not be attending the Reunion, but certainly look forward to interesting reading when I receive The Memory Book.
