Returned to school and received BA at age 40 (+2 years grad school). Started fulltime careers at 40 including: real estate Inv. & sales. Executive Director & Consultant in non profit organization (Focus: Strategic Planning, Fund Development), Alumni Relations Director. Volunteer work in children's schools 1970's and 1980's. Citizen of the year 1979, Lerner Life Newspapers. Volunteer work in women's issues 1978-present (member of Governor's Council on Women, IL 1980's). Human Rights Activist in South Africa 1986-present. Owned Siza Gallery - Evanston 1989-1992. Currently own Siza Enterprises featuring art & products from South Africa. |
