I was graduated from MIT in 1959 with a S.B. in Aeronautical Engineering and worked as an aeronautical engineer in CA, PA, and MA.   In 1967, I joined Raytheon company in Sudbury, MA, and worked as a mechanical engineer until my retirement in 1999.

The weekend after my graduation in 1959, I married my first wife (not a smart move). We have two children. In 1971, my wife and I separated, and we were divorced in 1972 (a very good thing). After moving to Framingham, MA, in 1971, I met Brenda (the best thing that?s ever happened to me). We have been married since 1973.

Early in our marriage, Brenda and I became ballroom dancers. We have traveled more extensively than I ever dreamed I would; have attended numerous cultural events; and have filled many volunteer roles. We have no children of our own. However, as the direct result of our volunteer activities and our travels, we have extended families in the U.S. and Japan. We have five multi-cultural ?grandchildren.?

My avocations have been many. I have been a gardener, architect, builder, mechanic, electrician, potter, and probably more - but I forget things these days. I continue to be a repairman, computer geek, African djembe (drum) player, and gofer (go for this, go for that). I have no idea what else I may become, but I?m enjoying the ride!
