After graduating from Senn, going to the University of Illinois for a year, I moved to California with my twin brother, Ira, and my family. I went to USC for a while and transferred to UCLA where I received my B.S. degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering. I worked in that field for a year. During the subsequent years, I proceeded through seven varied career changes, started three companies, also received my MBA from Pepperdine University and have been developing shopping centers throughout California for the past 26 years. While at UCLA, I met my wife, Eileen (Mintzer). We will be celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary this weekend. Eileen was born in Chicago on the West Side and moved to California when she was 11 years old. Eileen is an identical twin (her sister's name is Elaine) and is also the first cousin of one of my Senn classmates, Harvey Weinberg. Eileen is a Ph.D Psychologist, an author and in private practice with a specialty (yes, you guessed it) working with twins, multiples and their families.
I am sorry I can't make the reunion; however, I have wonderful memories from Senn and of my classmates. I will be thinking of you and wish each of you all my best for a fun-filled and very successful reunion party.
