I was very quiet and not very connected to Senn-was "horse crazy" and hung out with horsey friends-human and equine-at the stable.
Right after graduation, I went to Virginia with a circus horse trainer and her horses to stay with her father, who worked and lived at Arthur Godfrey's (remember him?) farm. I then went with her to various circus venues in the U.S. and Canada and took care of the horses, while she performed. We ended up (for R&R) in Bloomington-Normal, where I met my 1st husband, had 2 boy children, became active in political and social justice issues, helped to found "Community for Social Action" which had an important impact on the community. I started college at ISU, got divorced, moved back to Chicago and finished my BA in Special Ed. Got married again, moved to Elgin (husband's job), went to grad school to become a social worker, got divorced again, worked in public schools for about 25 years, "sort of" retired and now have a part-time psychotherapy practice. My horsey passion continued, lying dormant for school and kids, but I do now have a horse!
