I graduated from University of Illinois in 1959 with a BS degree.   I moved to New York in 1960 with my new bride, Jane Goodman, who was from Cincinnati.   We have lived, and worked in the "Big Apple" while raising our family here as well.   We have two daughters. Laura is an artist living in Phuket Thailand raising three children.   She and her husband lived in Nepal for 10 years having a business that developed alternative energy for remote villages. The other daughter, Susan, lives in Seattle and is a psycholigist.

In 1960, I began working in the apparel industry in sales opening a New York office for a Chicago manufacturer, Northwestern Mfg Co.   In 1962 I began my own business manufacturing "young designer apparel". The concept was very sucessful selling fine stores and appearing in all the fashion magizines.   I enjoyed the creative side, but the apparel industry was not enjoyable.   Therefore, in 1971, I changed industries, and I began working for a Cincinnati company as Executive Vice President.   I was using my creative side and developed branded product using new technologies for the jewelery industry.

In 1989, I began my own business focusing on men's diamond product developing the concept of "Luxury Fit" a hollow inside ring.   There are five patents that were issued protecting the technology.   The company's focus was selling major jewelry chains and retailers. I hold other patents for earrings and engagement sets.

In 2005, I sold my company to the Aaron Group, a company that manufactures internationally, and will be working only on a limited basis for the next four years.

I'm active in civic and religious organizations, and sit on the boards of Business Executives for National Security and the Synagogue B'nai Jeshrun.
