After Graduating from University of Illinois a degree in sociology, psychology, and anthropology, I married a '55 classmate(who is now my ?ex?)and chose to be a stay at home mom for two sons who have grown into amazing men! We all live in the Chicago area and have added a fun-loving 6 year old grandson to the mix.
Deerfield?s been home for the last 40 years and I am currently working as a fund-raiser for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. I love my work and also the fact that it supports and feeds my many habits including sailing, scuba diving, traveling hither and yon, enjoying life and just having fun! Bhutan, Cambodia and Thailand were the hot spots on my travel itinerary this spring. Life has been extremely good to me, but is flitting by so quickly....can it be 50 years since our Senior Luncheon at the Edgewater Beach Hotel and senior ditch day! I am so looking forward to renewing friendships and trying to get the brain to remember all your names. |
