I am very lucky to have had the best of all worlds, motherhood, a successful career, and now retirement. I worked for Lockheed Martin at the Skunk Works as a computer programmer analyst for almost 15 years and loved my work. I have been retired for more than 5 years and find many fun things to do in this mode, including travel (last trip was to Viet Nam & Cambodia), golf, maj jongg, bridge, and walking on the beach.
I have a terrific husband to whom I?ve been married for 47 years, 3 wonderful children, and 4 cute grandchildren. My 2 sons went to Harvard; one is an MD PhD and the other a Hollywood writer of TV sitcoms (Murphy Brown, Reba, and Whoopee). My daughter went to U. of California San Diego and was instrumental in getting us attuned to the delights of San Diego. One son and his family just moved to San Diego from Seattle and are just a few miles from our Solana Beach condo. We alternate between Solana Beach and our home in Northridge and this keeps us very busy. Life is good! |
