The light of my life is my one year old granddaughter. I have two other lights, a 13 year old grandson and an 11 year old granddaughter from a previous 13 year relationship but this new one has finally been given to me by my daugher and son-in-law.
What have I done? I have survived. I have survived three large coomanies for whom I worked: Wards, Sears Business Systems Center and Grant Advertising. Grant had 23 offices worldwide when I went to work for them. Two years later they were gone. I have also survived the demise of several smaller companies but CBS and Allstate Insurance Company are still around. Recently, while in Ecuador, I witnessed a small riot calling for the removal of "Lucio", the president. Two weeks later, in a sllightly bloody revoltion, he was removed. I now have one president to my credit. Now if I could get rid of another president. While looking over memorabilia for this reunion, I found a clipping referrng to a quiz show for grammar schools. Stewart was picked. Two students were selected from each of the 6th, 7th and 8th grades, probably by the teachers. Carl Thomas and I were chosen. Our alternate? Steve Lerner.
