After graduating from Senn High School in June, 1955, I majored in theater at Northwestern University, from which I graduated in 1959 with a B.S. in Speech. I was married to Philip R. Stewart, Jr. of Chicago, IL in 1960 and divorced from him in 1973. I have two adult children, Sharron Stewart Larson, age 42, and Mark Evan Stewart, age 40, and 3 grandchildren.
I received my juris doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1976 and have been licensed to practice law in Illinois since November, 1976. I am a trial attorney who specializes in insurance defense and insurance subrogation litigation, and plaintiff's personal injury litigation. I also serve as an arbitrator and panel chair for the Circuit Court of Cook County Mandatory Arbitration Program. Some memorable trips that I have taken have been to the Bahamas, St. Barthelemy in the French West Indies, and San Francisco and Mendocino, California. |
