Long ago, I discovered there's life after high school and now I'm discovering there's life after teaching, too!

I retired in June 2003 after 40 years as an educator with the St. Paul, Minnesota and Chicago school systems. Mostly, I taught 1st or 2nd grade as well as elementary art.

Now I have time for all kinds of women's groups, lectures, concerts, visits to museums without feeling like the Pied Piper, and attending performances on Friday nights without falling asleep! I am learning to play bridge and attempting to connect with the internet - both areas in which I appear to be learning disabled!

My souvenir from a youthful marriage of somewhat abbreviated duration was setting down roots in the Twin Cities.

Through the years, I have enjoyed traveling and have had the opportunity of visiting Japan, China, Egypt, India, Australia, Scandinavia, Europe and various other "tourtist circuit" destinations.

I have many beautiful and cherished memories of Senn High School coupled with the angst of adolescence.   I want to thank my teachers for their wisdom and dedication and all those who have impacted my life in positive ways.
