After graduation, I went right to work utilizing my secretarial skills learned at Senn. Those skills paid off quite well for me as I was doing the kind of work I loved and was promoted into administrative sales management at Dial Corporation in Phoenix where I worked from 1976 to 1988 when I retired. I still enjoy this type of work today.
During my adult years I lived in three cities... Chicago, Toledo, and Phoenix. I have also married three times. (Good things come in three's, don't they)? My first husband and I divorced after 18 years; I lost my second husband to cancer after 10 years; and have been married to my present husband, Tony, for two years. I would say my proudest accomplishments in life are my two beautiful, intelligent and successful children (Lori 43 and Jeff 40) who also have given me four precious grandchildren. Second and third on my list is quitting smoking after 30 years and staying active and young for 67 years! |
