The last 50 years of my life "in a nutshell":
Married/divorced/no remarriage (smart???) One great son/one terrific grandson/one lovely daughter-in-law My independent-film-making son and wife reside in Chicago My teenage grandson and his mom live nearby in St. Louis I am currently a practicing and energetic grandmother Retired after a successful 35-year career at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis (Business Manager of the Dept. of Molecular Microbiology) One unbelievable year working in London at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital, University of London I have a lovely home in Brentwood, St. Louis county, with two cats and an exhausting garden (used only semi-successfully as an exercise tool) Have done much travel (world-wide) -- my life-long favorite sport Visited the homes of friends in Hungary, India, Germany, France, & England with many more exciting trips planned for the future I'm a silly poet & frustrated writer (kids books but only in my head) Ex-racquetball player/sailor/windsurfer/skier (can you imagine??) Currently a retched but enthusiastic golfer Many wonderful friends, old and new (some kinda old now) I'm happy.....healthy.....fun loving.....and enjoying life immensely! |
