I received my BS and MBA at Northwestern and Kellogg,respectively. I initially worked in the Endowment office at NU before going down to LaSalle St., where I helped start, build and sell-off two investment advisory firms. After being semi-retired for eight years I went back to work five years ago in the same field for an old friend, where I have a schedule which allows me to operate out of the house at times and from our vacation home in California in the winter months.
I married my dear, sweet Ellen in 1960. We have two wonderfull children, Fred(44) and Alyson(41). Fred and his wife have two handsome boys, Max(16) and Jake(12) and they live in Cary, N.C. Alyson lives in downtown Chicago, she is a concierge at a very upscale condo building off of Michigan Ave. and is still single. My wife and I traveled extensively until her untimely passing last September. In time I will hit the road again-there are still a couple of spots in the world that I'd like to see before I check out. |
