As a good 50?s girl, I did the wife (twice) and children (5, three now living) bit and had a foster daughter for two years. I became an RN in 1973 and am still working as a nurse now. In 1979 my husband, three year old daughter, and I moved to Bandon, Oregon. I immediately began work in our local rural hospital.
Through the years, I have been to Europe four times, Morocco, Russia, China, Thailand, Malaysia, the Society Islands (where I made my first and only ocean scuba dive,) Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas, also four times. I really love traveling, which is one of the reasons I?m still working. Russia is probably my favorite country because of its diverse beauty. People, one-on-one, are open and friendly almost universally, though these days the U.S. government is almost universally disliked! My ?Beautiful Bandon-by-the-Sea? is still my piece of heaven on earth. I plan on living here in the woods ?til the end of my days. |
